Pours yellow with light copper hues. Two fingers of white foam sit on top and retain well. Aroma is rye spice with baking spices just behind. Cinnamon and apple juice develop more in the middle with bready malts and mild herbal and grass hops rounding out the aroma. Flavor profile is baking spices out front with apple juice just beyond. Bready malts and mild rye round it out. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a mild velvety texture that starts to stall out and flatten as the beer warms. Overall, some fair qualities, but falls off a touch quickly. Rye is an interesting pick though.
