I was told at the brewery it is a lager that is not hoppy despite the name... No it definitely is. Hops shape the taste and especially the smell, leafy and bitter. But it is a one trick pony, especially in the taste there is practically nothing behind it beside watery grains. Body suffers too, thin but well hopped at least, pretty dull on textures beyond hops, hop water if blindfolded. Looks pretty though, with a clear golden body, finger of white foam and lacing.
