"A Hoppy Farmhouse Ale Brewed With Chamomile Stems and Lithuanian Yeast" says the can; more homage to Baltic culture. Brewed in partnership with a suicide prevention agency. Picked-up at The Orkenoy gastro-pub along with dinner.
Average Looks with an orangish-pale; pretty, but needs more foam to stick around. In the nose, hints of hops equals hints of malt. Balance continue in the Tastes which give me a quasi-fruit experience followed by a semi-dry finish. Medium-mouthed, Sundae has good bubbles to cleanse the palate for another bite. A very good table ale. Paired well with their food of fried Brussels sprouts and rolls. I will have more of all.
I'm an Orkenoy fan despite finding them only just before Christmas. I like the individualized artwork for each brew and the seemingly embellished story behind it. My ninth unique ale from them, my first this year. (The 606 was impassable until this week.) Glad that Orkenoy also survived the winter. Now, let's work on Covid.
3/14/21 Enjoyed the second can with motley leftovers. So Sundae Prairie earns its Saison stripes and I will have more. But I'm keeping count over at UnTappd.
