I sampled this Apricot Wheat at the brewpub in Union Station (St. Louis).

The beer was golden in color and very slightly cloudy with a weak head which left thin lace. The aroma was of apricots and was very pleasant. The dominating flavor was of apricots and wheat with some astringency, and a taste of yeast. The mouthfeel was good. This was a very drinkable beer, and the fruit flavor was well balanced.

This is a unique and tasty brew. The color is like that of the light, but a deeper golden hue. The aroma of apricot has a candy-like character to it and leads into the flavor of initial light bitterness with a lingering candy malty apricot flavor. Reminds me of Magic Hat #9 with candy sugar thrown in for extra sweetness.
