22 oz bottle was poured into a tulip glass.
Appearance: A one finger head was poured that reduced to a puffy layer. It is an amber haze with some vision of tiny bubbles coming up through the glass. Spotty lacing down the glass.
Smell: Banana, clove, spice, citrus, grassy, pepper, yeasty esters, caramel, and bready malts.
Taste: Love the nice blend of hops, spices, malts, and saison yeast.
Mouthfeel: Smooth, medium to full bodied, bitterness, a little chewy, medium to high carbonation, and a bit dry.
Overall: A nice saison. A little high fie alcohol, but it us hidden really well. Enjoyed this one and could definitely enjoy another bottle.

First had: on tap at Portsmouth Brewery
Poured a darker brownish-amber color with a small cap of off-white head that retained as a bubbly collar. Aroma was light, bready malts, citrus pulp, light spice. Up front the taste brought in bready malts, grass, light citrus bitterness, with a light peppery sensation prickling the palate about midway through. Body was medium, the flavor was rather light but not quite thin, carbonation moderate, higher alcohol well-hidden. An enjoyable brew overall, but it really didn't come off as great, compared to other beers of the style.
