Well, that's a political title !
Very contemporary advice if you have Student loans... and a lot of people in Madison have or will have to start paying them (but the feds are finally doing something about our best educated starting productive life under a cloud of debt.)
As much as I agree with partial forgiveness of loans when innocent people have been conned, let's focus on this saison.
And while Giving Up Loans For Lent shows decent humor for a serious subject, it also is very good saison.
I've had 4 brews from Young Blood with varied quality, but all are Belgians and most show that heart. But because Young Blood was so young, they didn't quite get the Belgian tradition, or at least an interpretive range. Two years later, I try Giving Up and it shows they get Belgians better.
Giving Up Looks like a North American saison (that is, not enough active protein lasts.) Smells are a fruit medley, mostly tropical. Sweet Tastes are balanced well by their use of hops. Medium-mouthed, it cleared my palate for another spoonful of lentil soup.
Overall, Young Blood is learning fast and is cooler than I can possibly be. For that, I give them really swell Overall Hugs.
4/24/24. Still I am the only review on BA. But I've edited the above. I enjoyed Giving Up with a plate of buccatinni android sauce. Probably we have here a versatile table ale. Pesto is the next test.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
