Deep sanguine ruby tone, pinkish violet foam, thin veil across the surface.
Cherry, raspberry, leathery Brett funk, eucalyptus, deep earthy aroma.
Creamy smooth feel, seedy raspberry, cranberry, and dark cherry again in a more vinous capacity, mellow acidity, light bitterness, lingering tannins. Dry finish, light barrel notes.
Overall it’s balanced, fruit forward and funky like a Belgian kriek. Acidity is in check, Brett comes through, and the barrel is subtle. Nice level of complexity and finesse to this one.
