The year is 2020. Flying cars do not exist yet and the world is not like we expected. Breweries are releasing beers with enough fruit in them to be classified as thick as smoothies. Think Mango and Guava nectar rounded out by a small tartness. Yep, we jumped the shark. Please keep this beer cold at all times.

Poured from 16oz can into a tulip.
Appearance: thick dark orange, uh, well, not quite sludge, but a definitely opaque fruit puree-like body. No head at all. I get that it’s the style, but it’s maybe not entirely compelling.
Smell: sweet, earthy mango and guava. It’s definitely as-advertised, although for me, not much in the way of tartness comes through.
Taste: once again, it’s mango and guava. I’m relieved that it’s not actually super thick; just very fruit-juicy. More of the tartness comes through at this stage, adding to the impression of juiciness.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a very low degree of carbonation. It’s not entirely flat, but it could be a lot better in this area IMO.
Overall: it’s tasty, tart, sweet fruit juice. I have a hard time fitting it into the “beer” box in my brain, but what can I say? It’s yummy.

Totally not a fruit and field beer to me. Seems like a fruited kettle sour. Very tasty. Tart, fruity, thick, and sweet. Definitely smoothie like.

A: The beer is very hazy to cloudy yellow in color with some hues of pink and purple. It poured with no head whatsoever.
S: Moderately strong aromas of mango and guava are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has a slight amount of sourness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a bit smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I thought that this beer had a very good job of balancing both the aromas and flavors of mangos and guava.
