Appearnace: Poured with a finger of head that managed to make a little bit of lace, but sadly didn't stick around very long. The body however is textbook Hefe, cloudy yellow body just stopping short of completely opaque, showing ample slow moving carbonation.
Smell: Took a little bit of warming to wake up, and initial gave a bit of a mild lemon tone by evolves into a sweet sugary banana smell, with maybe some mild pineapple in the background. Very nice once it gets started.
Taste: Starts off with Barley and Wheat Malt with a hint of bubble gum that gives way to Banana and Clove with a slight mild bitter herb touch at the end, that is so mild I'd barely even call it bitter but rounds it out nicely. It's a bit more complex then some Hefe's although I do wish the potency ramped up a bit more.
Mouthfeel: Points get deducted for the lack of head, but apart from that, the carbonation is nice and sudsy and the transitioning is good, the aftertaste is a very mild wheat malt which a whisper of banana still present.
Drinkability: On the lighter end of medium body, and extremely refreshing and easy to drink. Settles down well, offers a very clean experience, leaves me wanting more both in terms of wanting another but also in wishing it could be ramped up slightly more.
Final Thoughts: I've long lamented Ontario not having a lot of good wheat beers, save for the every present Side-Launch Wheat, but to have two great offering in this and Muddy York's Haberdasher has left me hopeful that trend is coming to an end. I can see this being great with breaded chicken or fish as well as a summer drinker. If they can just get a bit more punch behind this one, I think this would be truly top tier.

Pours a lighter shade or gold with a reasonable head. I smell bananas and cloves as expected. The taste adds some candy sweetness and some hoppiness as well. In my opinion, this is exactly how a Hefeweizen should taste.
