From Notes
Appearance: Two fingers of head that produced no lace, decent retention. Body is deep brown that only lets you see shadows of your hand through the glass.
Smell: Mild toffee and plum but the potency isn't there, even after ample warming.
Taste: Caramel that turns to a smaller toffee note and mild pale straw before ending with slightly earthy hops.
Mouthfeel: Solid carbonation, good transitioning albeit a short journey, and aftertaste is mild toffee and dry straw that keeps you drinking.
Drinkability: Medium body, settles down well, refreshing with interesting notes.
Final Thoughts: A solid Dunkel that doesn't let it's roasting of the malt get out of control. Thumbs up.

Toffee colored brew with a strong chocolate nose that follows through to the taste. I was expecting caramel but chocolate and hazelnut are what come through most in the flavor. Noble hops provide a subtle bite that balances the sweeter side of this beer. Nice little twist on the style.
