On tap at The Study.
A mildly hazy yellow with a dense, white head with great retention and lacing. The nose is bright and fruity with a big dry hop character along with a big, fruity, spicy, moderately yeasty saison base. Dry, grainy, snappy. The palate opens spicy, sweet with bubblegum esters, banana, pear, citrus dry hop. The mid-palate has honey, soft pils malt. Drying, fruity finish. Delightful.

Mostly clear golden body with fingers of white foam. Aromas of floral yeast dominate, light orange zest and herbal hops support. Citrus and expressive floral yeast steal the show in the taste. Higher carbonation breaks up the yeasty nature of the beer, bright yet still has decent weight to it on the finish, kind of nondescript for the style. No big weaknesses just kind of bland

16-ounce can purchased at Uptown Beer Co. Poured into a Belgian-style tulip goblet. Date stamp reads "CANNED ON 06082021".
Look:
The beer is a cloudy straw-gold color, topped with a thick head of fluffy, long-lasting white foam which leaves good sticky lacing.
Smell:
Doughy malt, moderately sweet, with notes of tangy citrus, hay, a breath of wintergreen, and a touch of sulfur.
Taste:
The beer enters on a foundation of lightly sweet malt enhanced with gentle fruity and spicy notes. The fruit is a combination of orange and not-quite-ripe nectarine (when they're good and crunchy). The spice is a soft glow of pepper with a mild herbal character. Dries out through the middle. Finishes with a zesty tang of citrus and some mild herbal hop bitterness. A rather simple flavor profile, but still enjoyable.
Mouthfeel:
Creamy-textured medium body that feels a little heavy for the beer's size. Carbonation is brisk and ample.
Overall:
A tasty example of the style, with a good balance of malt and yeast-driven fruit and spice. While I prefer hoppier saisons, I have no problem calling Sea of Showers another quality beer from ForeLand. Worth trying.
