Clear and lightly bubbly yellow with an off-white airy foam head of moderate height.

I at first enjoy the bit of straw and wheat that's contrasted by a lightly herbal quality, but then it becomes clovey, and quite potently so after time. It's gratingly phenolic.

cool name, lovely beer, and as much as clean saison is not the type i seek out, i was genuinely stoked on this, more complex than most. sure it hits a little french and belgian on the yeast side, but its not all high tone esters, and its quite drinkable and approachable, somewhat nuanced even without a more rustic overall vibe that i generally prefer. clearish and yellow, very light looking in terms of body, lively peaky white head and a lot of carbonation, some lace as it drinks down. the nose here is light pear, red and green apple, and green grape, faint citrusy tang, cut flowers, and summer spiciness, light coriander and white pepper to me, but its not dominant, and i get some clean pils malt and pale wheat right there too, all very light, even delicate as they go. up front fruitiness in the flavor from ripe melon to zested lime, definite white wine notes as it warms, some wet lawn too, but i didnt find this very hoppy overall. some ripe stone fruit too as it warms, some honey sweetness in the middle and a floral linger, but it is dry overall on the swallow, and it keeps its high carbonation the whole drink, even in summer heat. i like the finishing spiciness, the way the yeast flirts with familiarity but really ends up with its own personality, and how drinkable it all is. still, some brett would make this awesome, some more rugged grain earthiness too, its all so light as it is, but a well refined beer and a worthy example of the style. i was impressed by just about everything we had at foreland, cool place too!

Pours a light gold with ample head that dissipates very slowly leaving a thick ring around the glass as the beer is enjoyed.

The nose is grassy/floral with a touch of a spicy note. Clean. It has what I’d call an aroma that reminds me of both a clean light lager and rustic saison.

Taste follows. Grassy hops and some spicy/peppery flavours greet the tongue. The slightest hint of banana sit in behind.

Light bodied and eminently drinkable.

This was a unique little saison.

Can.

A clear light yellow with a dense white head with good retention and lacing. The nose is clean, snappy, bright, mildly spicy and just delightful. These flavors are present on the palate as well, clean and with a faint yeast note. Doughy, snappy, creamy, delightful mouthfeel. Excellent

Pours a pale straw golden with beautiful pillowy cumulus head. A touch of banana candy and fresh cut grass on the nose. The beer is bubblegummy with a delicately balanced herbal and earth hop character. There's some vanilla, a touch of banana, but that sweetness is cut by the hops and overall, the beer is dry and drinkable. It seems like breweries are apprehensive to make these beers or consumers are hesitant to buy them, but this kind of beer is one I could drink all of the time.
