16oz can served in a curvy Monhegan pint glass. Can does not appear to be dated. Bought it Sunday at Chuck's Hop Shop.
Pours clear golden with a medium sized head, just under a finger. Plenty of carbonation. Last few drops of the pour brought a little sediment and introduced a slight cloudiness. Smell is grainy, bready doughy yeasty...some grass and earthiness in the background.
Taste is right in the same lane, maybe a bit lighter on the sweetness than I expected and a bit stronger on the grassy bitterness, which is a good balance.
Mouthfeel is light, clean, smooth. Very nice beer.

Glowing clear gold, after a chill haze dissipates, with a solidly level white foam head.
Dang, this is really flavorful for a helles, as corn nuts meet grape on an expanding crispness that finishes cleanly dry.

Clear pale gold color with plenty of foam in the big Stout glass. Aromatic with fall leaves, fresh hay, and corn cereal. Prickly and light on the tongue. Light grain flavor. So beery in the best sense of the word! This is all rather delicate yet crisp and flavorful. Such a pleasing and complex bit of fruit and grain with the gentle bite of hops in the finish. It would be a shame to drink a flavorless lager when you could drink one of these. From the 16 oz can purchased in Washington. Dated 03/23/23.

class helles here, seems like these guys do everything well. this is clean, bright, quintessentially german, a little flourishing up front grain sweetness which makes the drier finish all the more striking, super refined, drinkable, and good. light golden color, all shine, shorter head but great carbonation, a lovely looking brew, delicate. the nose and taste mirror one another, they are inextricably linked, uniquely fresh and sweet front end, spring florals, clover honey, even faint toffee, slightly richer smelling than it looks like would be possible, but also light still, some brassy minerality, very subtle noble hops, and old world lager yeast done patient and right. its less crackery on the grain side than their pils, a little more developed to me, interestingly palate coating for a beer this easy drinking. slightly bready on the yeast side, it kind of makes me taste the water too which is cool, and then an unexpected snappy crispness on the back end, aided little by hops, just all of a sudden dries right out and turns refreshing. cool trajectory for this, sets it apart a bit i reckon. jovial carbonation, easy texture, perfect patio ripper from the dimpled mug they serve it in at the brewery! cool take on the style.

Had on tap. Clear bubbly golden pour with two fingers of white foam and spotted lacing. Fresh bread, light grains, lager malts and a kiss of honey in both smell and taste, plus a floral accent in the smell. Nothing intense, solid helles flavoring. Body is higher in carbonation but malt and yeast is well balanced. Solid helles but not most memorable
