Can from Uptown Market
A clear light yellow with a dense, white head with good retention and lacing this looks great. The nose is a classic saison nose with expressive, spicy yeast, rustic grain, light floral notes along with some honey. I really can't say I get much tea character here. Fairly hoppy with lemon and earth. The palate opens mildly bitter and herbal, with floral and spice notes following. Dry, rustic grain with a straw/lemon backbone present. A hint tannic, maybe from the tea? Dry, austere finish, crisp yet rustic with a hint of carbonic acidity. Refined.
