Look: Clear light yellow with a booming head that builds quickly and slowly craters to a pillow, leaving webs of lacing behind
Aroma: Cereal grains, soda crackers, freshly baked biscuits, floral hop notes, and subtle honey-like sweetness
Taste: Lemons and lemonhead candy hit quickly and unexpectedly up front and quickly joined by waves of grains and soda crackers. The lemon persists as biscuits and floral notes weave in and out before closing with grains and a lemon-led sweet note
Mouthfeel: Full but light, clean, medium-high carbonation, and clean and crisp on the finish
Overall: Another tasty one here. This is these folks’ entry to this cool series and is a delicious American Lager of sorts only with a fun lemon twist. I didn’t pick up on the lemony hop note in the nose so was surprised on the first sip but it works well here and I now want to know which variety(ies) they used. A clean, easy-drinking, well-made, and refreshing lager brewed for a good cause – sign me up anytime
