Extra Special Bitter brewed in collaboration with our friends at Bonn Place Brewing with a mix of NJ and English malts, and first gold hops. Notes of old world crackers, that emotionally warming leather bound book stuffed with tea leaves, and a most classic jam to spread on your scone.

Pint pour on draught at the brewery. It pours a hazy, iced tea color with a half finger of creamy, ecru-colored head and thin sheen of lacing. The pleasant aroma includes sweet caramel/toffee and mild, nutty, earthy malts. Its taste is akin to well-toasted bread, lightly spread with melted toffee, and sprinkled with powdered burnt nuts. It's very well balanced but the underlying bitterness is evident throughout. The mouth feel is pleasantly creamy with lite to moderate carbonation, and it is highly drinkable at 5.3% ABV. Overall, this is an excellent ESB lovingly made by two brewers who clearly like - and are adept at - the style. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
