Brewed in collaboration with Afterthought Brewing Co. We added some darker malts to this beer, and used Michigan grown Brewers Gold and Zuper Saazer that we have been aging for 3 years. Primarily fermentation with Abby yeast and conditioned with our house cultures.

Appearance - The beer was golden in color with visible carbonation.
Smell - The nose was like funky green apples.
Taste - The profile had a pleasant funk. It had notes of grape skin, peaches, and green apples. Hops provided a nice Earthiness. The aftertaste reinforced the funk.
Mouthfeel - The body was highly carbonated and allowed some lingering notes.
Overall -This beer checks all the boxes for the style.

Released 2/10/24; drank 2/25/24 @ the Yarchives.
Murky dull orange rust appearance.
A slow pour yielded a nice, noisy khaki head; strong, frothy tree-rung lacing remained.
Dark cherry, tart lemon & faint cracked wheat notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Dark cherry & faint cracked wheat flavors up front; mild tart lemon notes on the finish.
Balanced, not too sour, and easy to enjoy. I'd have another!
