With a deep amber hue and a bright, inviting clarity, this beer greets you with layers of toffee, biscuit, and a touch of honey sweetness. The English hops lend a delicate earthiness and a mild, herbal spiciness that lingers on the palate, providing a clean and refreshing finish.

Having this beer on-tap at the brewery. This beer draws a medium to dark amber/copper color with a slightly tan/off-white head that’s about an inch thick when first drawn and served. Head settles to a fairly thick ring lining the inside of the glass at the beer’s surface along with decent lacing. Aromas of some toasted, slightly caramelized, biscuity malts along with a bit of toffee and an herbal spice note. A very similar flavor profile, with the aforementioned toasted, biscuity, caramel malt sweetness followed by a nice presence of toffee that gives way to some herbal and earthy hop bitterness. Has a crisp, also smooth, slightly creamy, medium to full bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Has a slightly dry finish, and all of the flavors linger nicely on my palate in the aftertaste following each sip.

Beautifully copper brown, clear aside from some chill, under a moderately short tan head.
The fairly soft body delivers some minerality and mild leafy, nutty qualities before a hint of ester.
