Cloudy look, nice amount of grassy hops, bitter yet pleasant drinking. I like that it's a "lighter IPA" being at 5.5% - it seems most breweries have their IPAs start at 7% these days

At the brewery, served in a shaker-let ke ipa glass. Only needed one sip…just no. Doesn’t look like an neipa, being only half-way to cloudy. Frosty peach color, with a thin crown of pull white head, some retention. Nose is basic hi-c juiciness, but ends up being the best thing, by far. Taste is wrong…ugh. I’m guessing that the yeast is under pitched, but whatever it is, something did not go right. The finish, in particular, is just kind of brackish and bitter in a way that isn’t interesting and doesn’t show off anything interesting about the hops. Hopefully, this is just a bad batch.
