Sounding more Spanish but tasting more Mexican, Xul Beer's Mexican styled lager hits all the high marks with the help of Wai-tiki hops.
Brightly clear with chrome and champagne bubbles, Toro y Oso is certainly bullish with a pleasant floral, lightly spicy and lightly fruity scent that hovers above a cottony white froth. Gentle sweetness graces the tongue with a brisk and bready taste laced with mild cereal grain and wafer-like dryness. As the special hops align on the middle palate, the fruitiness of passionfruit, lemon and apple add a subtle layer of complexity that leads to a spicy bitterness of lemongrass and mint that permeates the finish.
Light, crisp and highly refreshing, the session adds a hint of coconut to the quick, snappy and brisk finish.

Pours a cloudy, light golden color. Thin weak white head. Aroma has notes of sweet malts, honey and some light citrus. Taste is more of the same with light malt, honey, some light citrus notes. There is a light bitterness to the beer that is pleasant. Feel is light, crisp, bright and refreshing. Bright carbonation. Overall a very nice lager. Enjoyable and repeatable.

Clear golden body with a white head. Corn malt, dry bready yeast with a dash of lemon zest coming up in the smell. Taste adds honey, lemon more juicy now, lime comes to play, yeast more developed and frothy. Feel is driven by crisp malts and smooth full yeast yet stays light and has a great carb level. The wife liked it. Paired great with my tex-mex bowl I made

Pale yellow body, clear; sparse carbonation; thick, billowy, white head. Outstanding aroma of light cracker and low-key lemon-lime citrus notes. Light, delicate flavor; very mild malt presence, a bit biscuit-like; a bit of fresh cut grass and light citrus flavor; very quiet bitterness. Light bodied and soft on the palate; pillowy; very pleasant light balance of sweetness and dryness.
This is a an easy drinking beer, fairly clean and mildly crisp on the palate and very crushable.

A Tavour Treat. Pours a pale gold color with a foamy white head that lasts quite a while. Aroma of grains and grasses. Taste is slightly spicy; no hoppy bitterness. Crisp and dry. A good summer beer.
