A lightly foggy sheen of amber-red displays under a fluffy, magic eraser sort of sponge head that settles in rounded mounds to a thick blanket with a ridged collar.
The nose is just out of this world. It's a hypnotizing aroma of wild, lightly funky strawberry jam that's just unbelievably ooey gooey, yet accented by a lightly peppery oaky spice. It's one of the best smelling fruited lambic-style beers I've had, regardless of origin.
Tangy and lightly prickly, the crisp light body is a bit more tart and lemon-spiked than the nose, bringing strawberry pie to mind. Yet it's also got an almost salinic funk to pair with its mildly crackery oak.
Its wonderfully expanding carbonation froths up quickly yet vanishes instantly to a cleanly fine dryness.
