Field Blend - 2019 Harvest

Field Blend features blackberries, blueberries, and peaches from our 2019 harvest season. The spontaneous beer is pulled primarily from a traditional spontaneous batch and a traditional spontaneous beer brewed to a higher gravity in the Fall of 2018. This blend was cold macerated on both New Jersey blueberries and blackberries in order to promote juice extraction and jamminess before being blended with another spontaneously fermented beer aged on New Jersey yellow peaches.

This blend pulls on each fruit as additive components with no single fruit dominating. The blackberries add jammy undertones, blueberries bring fruity funk and the peach pushes floral notes and a roundness to our spontaneous beer.
