The colour is amber-orange, the liquid hazy. The low head disappears quickly; the beer looks very much like an unfiltered apple juice.
There is some apple juice in the smell too. Sour mineral notes, some red apples and unclean hints of band aid.
The taste is very sour-bitter but also quite with notes of sweetened condensed milk, caramel and red berries/rosehips. Hints of soil, band aid and iodine. Medium body. The aftertaste is a bit harsh, with growing sweetness, green apples and a touch of caramel cookies. The sour-tart finish got notes of minerals and sour fruit candy.
The carbonation is strong; the many small bubbles are sharp. The liquid is harsh.
Not a bad sour ale, but I didn’t like the band aid flavours.
