On tap at The Sheffield in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a light brown-ish color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like toasted malt, black tea, light spicing, and caramel.
This is a basically spot on take on the style – I wish I could try it on cask! It’s toasty and nutty, with a tea-like and slightly spicy hop character, and a long smooth finish.
This is slightly creamy, very crisp, and very drinkable.
Wayward Lane is sneakily one of the better breweries in the state, doing great versions of forgotten styles.
