Poured into big ol Sierra Nevada IPA glass.
Beautiful black body with foamy white frothy atop.
Some faint aroma of all things best in Black IPAs- roasty malts and dank, earthy light citrus & pine hops.
Flavor is oh so beguiling.
The subtle notes in aroma come out to play and stay nicely in the flavor. Each sip beckons me back for another.
Mouthfeel is terrific, with med body, perfect carbonation, and a creaminess that just augments the allure of this beauty.
My beer guy at DiCiccios in Brewster immediately pointed me to this beer my last trip in, knowing my affinity for this elusive style. He was, once again, right on with his recommendation.
Ah been hoodwinked...
Hope u get hoodwinked, too!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
