pours a super hazy gold body with an amber tinge to it, and a small white foam head that has very low retention, settling to a murky bubbled cap within moments, and leaving no lacing behind as it does
aroma is quite big and dank; sweet, juicy, spritzy, and malty. lemon lime, pine, and caramel. feels fresh and has slight grass notes to it
taste is out there! super big lemon lime juice drop right upfront, which fizzes and gives way to a fresh feeling pine, along with a caramel malt back-up
mouthfeel is high carbonation and medium-light bodied, feeling fresh and slightly crisp (easy) throughout before finishing dry with a bright citrus spritz and pine aftertaste.
overall:
wow. this one got me - it was a progressive thing..a build up. it's not much to look at, it doesn't visually excite; the aroma is interesting, but ultimately muted and familiar. then, the taste. the initial jolt of flavor startled me, then brought me in for more. it is superbly balanced, not too sweet or citrusy or bitter. it hits a vivid sweet spot. super tasty and oddly complex. total win in my book
