I had this beer on-tap in a tumbler at the brewery in Portland.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a light haze and a thin layer of ivory foam atop.
Smell: a really clean, smooth wheaty aroma, along with just a little earthy farmhouse character.
Taste: a surprising tartness up front with a rather lemony character. The rich wheatiness is here too, with a bit of farmhouse funk and an earthy grassiness. I’m … really enjoying this.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: a very unusual beer; I like it, but it’s a bit of a slow sipper with its sourness.
