Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug.
Appearance: rich copper-orange hue, almost starting to head into the territory of pink. Body is clear, and head is a finger of frothy eggshell foam. I really love the color!
Smell: lightly sweet aroma with a very light fruitiness that reminds me of strawberry more than anything else, along with just a dash of natural tartness. I find this very enticing indeed!
Taste: a lot like the aroma: a bit of sweetness (maybe sweeter than the aroma), along with an earthy fruitiness (again, since I’m not super familiar with prickly pear, I’m really feeling strawberries) and just a soupçon of tartness that really ties the whole thing together.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a good carbonation and decent creaminess.
Overall: super refreshing, although I wouldn’t necessarily wanna drink it all day. A couple is perfect, though!
