Dark, deep hues of Backroads Brown Ale get topped off by an off-white creamy head. A smooth malt forward taste brings rich, malty flavors of chocolate, toast, and caramel complimented by mild aromas of northwest hops. Each sip ends just as smooth as it started.

Aroma is very nutty malts, mild chocolate and hops, kind of a hybrid of English and American brown ales. The flavor is fruit, malts/grains and a nutty/mildly sweet caramel finish.
