Pour is a deep golden / burnt orange / copper. Nice cap of off white foam with decent retention and good
Nose is caramel, toffee, earthy hops
Taste follows. Caramel, toffee, a lot of bready character - toasted bread crust, cracker. Solid bitterness, but nicely balanced by the malt character.
Smooth and easy to drink. Great beer

Had a proper English pint of this beer poured from tap at the brewery while attending their first year anniversary.
Beautiful beer presented beautifully: dark golden yellow color with a nice white head and excellent curtain lacing. Clean bready smell. Classic ESB taste profile. Bready and slightly sweet upfront with a pleasant bitter finish. This is a beer to drink for a while. Nice beer!
