Look: Clear deep amber body beneath a short head of white that holds well and leaves some very good lacing.
Smell: The aroma is a little like fresh leather but I know it’s oak and caramelish malt with some red grape.
Taste: The flavor follows the aroma but fuller. It's rich for a saison but this one is 9.1% ABV which means it was big to begin with. Nicely balanced and rounded.
Feel: Medium bodied and crisp.
Overall: Quite interesting, and also satiating.
