500ml bottle served in a pint glass. 24.08.2018.
Pours dark honey amber with a medium sized head. Lots of carbonation. Smell is grain and grass, some honey.
Taste is interesting. Pretty sweet, with some floral flavors. Not really any funk or sourness. It's not bad.
Mouthfeel is smooth, medium bodied, not very effervescent. Overall, not bad at all.

poured from bottle into glass, nice 2 finger cream colored head, ok retention and lacing. Dark amberish golden in the glass, somewhat hazy. Has that distinctive farmhouse yeast aroma, some spice on the nose. Taste is initially sweet malt, there is some lemon, and grassy hop coming thru in the middle. The finish is crisp and dry, with very little aftertaste. Not the best saison I have had, but not the worse. There are so many good beers to try over here, this is probably a one and done, but I could see getting this beer with a meal. It is a simple saison that would stay out of your foods way and complement it more than most beer would.

500ml bottle in Oki Doki Hostel, Warsaw (9.50PLN):
An interesting & fairly average offering from Żywiec here, the beer was quite a fresh one with some touches of spice coming through at times too. It wasn't an in your face saison flavours, there was some yeast & lemon coming through but the hay & hints of grassy hops along with the lighter malts gave it the feel of a pale lager at times too. It was balanced, lively & fresh without the yeast or spice overpowering at any point which made it an easy enough session beer to drink but it's not one worth a repeat visit really.

Bottle 01.07.16. Aroma of wheat, belgian yeast and witbier-like citruses. Deep amber coloured beer, clear, after emptying bottle - hazy. White three fingered head, disappears almost immediately. In taste wheat, barley, bubblegum, bread crust and citruses. In aftertaste beer is oily and slightly sour, and for unknown reason bland like unfermented. Small herbal bitterness, not specially nice. Extremely carbonated beer, it bites mouth and throat. It gives feeling of fullness after few sips. Alcohol slightly perceptible. It's my first saison, so I'm not familiar with the style, but this beer is simply not good - bland and clogging.
Bottle 13.10.16. Aroma of wheat, banana, clove, little but nice alcohol with spices in background. Colour is light golden turning into orange, hazy. White two fingered head, reduces to thick flat. Slightly sweet like honey in taste, some spices, but also little watery and wheat. Then comes low oily and tart bitterness with strong grain, yeast and grassy aftertaste. Alcohol becomes more perceptible with time, but it fits aftertaste well. High carbonation, bites tongue a little, but it's nice. Medium body, oily texture. Very nice, tasty beer, oily but drinakble. It quench thirst well.
