Beer with a fresh hoppy flavour and aroma, brewed with the use of special combination of bittering and aromatic hops. A proposal for those looking for a lighter, more refreshing beer.

I found this single 500ml brown bottle in the back cooler of Springbrook Liquoprs in Blooimingdale, IL. Good value at $1.99 for this size bottle, so I took one home to try it.
The beer poured a rich gold color but it only made a razor thin rinfg of white foam on top, and even that disappeared quickly. No lacing.
The beer smelled like a mix of grain and sugar.
Sweet start to this, but it soon turns to an unpleasant metalic taste with alcohol being the only other flavor.
Medium bodied with medium carbonation.
I didn't care for this at all and wouldn't buy it again despite its cheap price.

Okay, wow. As a malt liquor this was pretty darn good! Not too sweet, felt a bit boozy in the beginning but as soon as the temperature reached equilibrium it all blended very well together and I loved the outcome. I rend to like boozy beers but this one was even better after the whole thing turned into something like a brandy. Quite smooth, plenty of malts and - although being an Euro strong lager, it did not taste like a typical Euro beer.
A pleasant surprise!

Pours clear, gold in color with one third inch head. Taste is sweet toasted malt and light cereal. Medium bodied, low carbonation, sweet. Good for style but not one I would get on a regular basis.

Okay, so, full discosure: I lived in Poland for a year when I was remotely cool many years ago and drank this regularly among Zywiec' other varied offerings.
Amazing crystal clarity wth a mosty useless white head. Big sweet malt note in the nose. Mostly meaningless malty body but the finish is marred by astringency. Texture is thin and leaks alcohol.
This is kind of what I remember about strong Polish lager. A little overstated with too much booze flavor for the official abv. Poland had lots of okay beer, but not much good or great beer. This fits that mold.

Poured from a 16.9 oz. can. Has a golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is mild, some grains. Taste is grains, alcohol, malts, a bit metallic at the finish. Feels medium/light bodied in the mouth and overall, not terrible, but I won't be buying it again.

(500 ml can, best by(?) 04-29-2016 - poured into a wine glass)
L: liquid is brilliantly-clear, dead on gold color... head forms, but swiftly recedes, leaving a very thin collar of foam... leaves splotches of lace - wants to leave more... tiny white fibers seem to be floating about, they look not unlike the hairs that come off printer paper
S: wet pavement, mild bubblegum, hint of wet grass... smells like an industrial Belgian strong pale... fresh printer paper... perhaps the faintest whisper of leafy hops... certainly a malty undertone, but not grainy in any way... overall, very clean with a bit of brightness in its esters/fusels, mellow
T: brief, almost pilsner-like malt up front, followed and finished by a mellow whoosh of vinous fruitiness then alcohol (vinous on both accounts)... lingering lightly-spicy alcohol, almost whiskey-like (as in hints of smoke and oak?!)... mild bitterness, but more than you would find in an average-strength pale (American) lager - bitterness perhaps more on par with something like fresh Stella?... remarkably dry finish... clean and free of blemishes, but kinda boring
F: quite light-bodied, clean, maybe a little glassy smooth, but altogether pretty light... mild blushing warmth builds in the back of the jaw... damn near bone dry after its settled... I've heard of legs inside a glass - can one have that on the palate?
O: second time in as many days drinking this - yesterday, drank it out of a tall, fluted goblet... compared to American malt liquors, this is a touch cleaner and thinner than some of the cleanest/thinnest domestic examples... the can says 'full-bodied taste' - not getting much of either... the taste is really subdued, but if you're just going for a quick buzz, you can knock back a couple of these and not feel full

I bought a 4 pack of cans. The beer has a yellow / Orange hue with a thin white head. The smell is malty and a bit sweet. Its taste is more bitter than most american lagers and there is an unpleasant bitterness in the aftertaste. I'm also getting a metallic aftertaste that builds the more I drink the beer. There is a smoothness to the beer and it has light carbonation.

(Served in a strange)
A- This beer pours a clear lemon yellow body with a slow carbonation supporting a bubble white head that last for a bit as a thin film.
S- The clean slightly sulfury hops note comes through as the beer opens.
T- The dry clean flavor has a pungent bitterness that turns to a bitter bite in the aftertaste.
M- the medium-light mouthfeel has a spicy fizz and no alcohol heat noticed.
O- This beer is thin and a bit flavorless with the only flavor being a big hop bitterness. It was not worth finishing.

Poured from a 16oz can into my Moonlight shaped pint glass.
Brilliantly clear Mikado yellow body with a smattering of off white foam. Delicate lacing, decent retention.
Very faint apple (golden delicious) in the nose with a touch of straw - clean malt, and little else. Faint grassy note along with a hint of honey.
Malty, slightly fruity with a somewhat grainy base - not much character despite what the can claims. Light hop bitterness throughout with a touch of dandelion greens. Medium-dry finish with a little alcohol kick.
Medium bodied, zippy, crisp, and relatively refreshing despite the ABV.
While I bought a 4-pack to counter the growing heat of an afternoon spent working in the yard, it would pair equally well as a counter-point to a heart stew on a cold night.

Served in a pint glass.
Appearance: Slightly dark gold, has a (white) head which didn't rise much maybe to a 1/8".
Smell: Light light hops, not much bragging right here.
Taste: Lightly bitter but exceptionally smooth. This isn't your american-style malt liquor. Very easy but sharp.
Mouth: Medium carbonation, exceeded my expectations.
Overall: Not bad at all, I mean it isn't the best beer you will have in your life but overall it satisfies you, if it doesn't it was only 2 and half bucks. Salud!
