Brewed with 100% oak-smoked wheat malt, this traditional piwo grodziskie casts a delightful aura of enchanting smoke, austere dryness, doughy malt, and a lively effervescence.
Brewed in collaboration with our hot dog-loving buds at Big Time Brewery and Halcyon Brewing.

16oz can served in a nonic pint. Don't see a date. Bought it about a month ago at Beer Junction.
Pours clear pale yellow, almost greenish, big creamy head that settles fairly quickly into a thick, uneven layer with sparse clotty lacing, lots of active carbonation. Smell is smokey but not ashy, maybe some burnt honey. Some wood.
Taste is pretty effing nice at 3.6%. Slightly watery, sure, but tons of grain and tons of smoke, some honeysuckle and other unrecognizable flowers. Grassy / earthy bitterness, borderline mushroom.
Mouthfeel is extremely light, smooth, again the word "watery" comes to mind, but please don't take it negatively. This is a really nice beer.

Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 8/5/25.
Appearance: pale straw hue with just a little bit of haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop.
Smell: very smoky with a little bit of sweetness and graininess underneath. Smoked beers aren’t for everyone, but I think this one has a good richness to it.
Taste: smokey, like the aroma, but not too sweet. There’s a fair amount of graininess here, too; the overall effect is kind of astringent. I haven’t had a whole ton of grodziskies, but I feel like this one isn’t quite as smooth as some others. Still not bad, though.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: it’s a decent enough grodziskie, but I feel like it’s not quite balanced right. A little less astringency or a dash more sweetness or something would help this beer a lot, I think.
