No date. 16 oz can.
Deep burned mahogany in hue. Abundant tan head with great retention. Clumpy lacing.
Nose begins with a pop of pine resin, followed by a firm toasty malt.
Yep, nose was a nice preview. The malt is solid, roasted, and almost lush in its delivery roast tamped sweetness. The pine bitterness is almost green and eventually presents a bit of orange.
Mouthfeel is full, decent level of carbonation, and overall really lets the flavors dance.

16oz can served in a big snifter. If dated, I don't see it. Gifted to me by @2beerdogs.
Pours black with a small creamy head. Smell is fresh clean hops and lots of roasty malt goodness.
Taste is very, very roasty, burnt sugars and burnt toast, lots of toffee and molasses sweetness, but strong citrus and pine resin bitterness adding on and also providing some floral notes that are burnt around the edges.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied, smooth, clean. Overall, very nice beer, leans more toward the "dark and roasty bitter" than the "pine resin bitter" but has a nice malty backbone and is balanced really well.
