19.2 oz can from Brewers Haven. Pale golden, hazy, wispy head. Weak aroma, bread, citrus. Taste is also on the weak side, not much flavor other than a bitter snap. Not wow'ed...

Can: Poured a slightly hazy blonde color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of juicy hops notes with some light bitterness notes is pleasant. Taste is also a good mix of juicy hops notes with some light bitterness notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Solid offering for a low calorie beer.

12 oz can from a 6 pack, bought from Fred Meyers in South Salem OR
$8.99 a six.
Pours a slightly murky yellow coloured body with a nice thick and clingy white head.
Aroma mostly citrus style hops. Lime zest, lemon etc. Really clean and nice.
Taste the same..citrus..mainly lemon zest and pale malts.
Nice well carbonated and non boring mouth feel All one can ask from a low cal/carb beer IMO.
Actually a nice beer and a good choice for us with diabetic problems

Thanks to pops for bringing this by and for leaving the cardboard.
Pours one of the lightest but also brightest yellow colors I've ever seen. This is like even lighter than say, Miller 64 lemonade. It didn't have much going for it in terms of clarity, but its such a light yellow you can still see through its haze. Small 1/4" white head with below average retention.
The aroma was quite citrusy, the nose here far exceeded my expectations, somewhat reminiscent of Flyjack, another low abv but high hop aromatics kind of pale ale. I realize there are four hop varieties, but man this pushes Citra all the way.
Orange all day.
Taste is a nice citrus breezy kind of beer. Mouth feel has the obvious thin ness and barely there barley and oat qualities paired up with what feels almost excessive carbonation relative to the other lack of ingredients relatively speaking. I do like that Simcoe pushed a respectable amount of bitterness that didn't come off excessive to the minimal malt body. Its a decent serviceable beer at a good price that will have its niche in warm weather.

Yuck! unless this beer had sat in the 90ยบ sun for an afternoon and then put in fridge I can't imagine anyone finding it remotely palatable. 2 sips and down the drain for me. bah!
I had it at a party and the person who brought it could have just been pawning off something someone left at their house, I don't know but it was undrinkable.

Pours cloudy straw with an almost green edge. Dish soap head quickly recedes to a small ring. Tropical, grassy hops and some cookie dough in the nose. Mango, pineapple, berry, tea hop flavors and a solid bready malt ballast in the taste. The mouthfeel is quite full bodied with light carbonation. Light bitterness and some lingering hops in the short finish.
A nice, if a slight bit under hopped, session IPA. Worth a try.

12 oz can from a four-pack purchased at the LCBO; dated Mar 16 2021 and served barely chilled.
Pours a hazy, very pale straw yellow colour, producing a quarter-inch of fizzy white head that quite literally disappears within seconds. No cap, no collar, and no lacing to speak of - this is one of the least attractive pale ales I have seen in quite some time. It smells fruity and pleasant enough - pink grapefruit, berries and lime come to mind.
Light flavours of oats and wheat are largely overshadowed by the hops, which impart a lemon-lime citrus note, as well as hints of berries and grapefruit. A little sweet on the back end, with fading hints of herbal, pithy hop bitterness. Light-ish mouthfeel, with average carbonation levels that give a little bit of crispness to this brew's smooth, surprisingly satisfying (i.e. not thin) body. Extraordinarily drinkable: low-cal pale ales are not really my bag, but to me this comes off as a very competently brewed one.
Final Grade: 3.72, a B grade. Deschutes' Wowza! grew on me over the course of two cans, but at the end of the day I think I just prefer old (or middle) school APAs over the hazy crazy stuff. This is very much worth a spin if you like light, hoppy pale ales, as it drinks more or less like a low IBU session IPA, and a good one at that. I wouldn't turn this beer down, but I don't see myself paying import prices for it again. Also, I just noticed that chicory root is listed as an ingredient, which is neat, I guess. Missed that one.

355 ml can served cold into a pint glass. Cost was high for what is essentially a 4% pale ale. Canned March 17, 2021, so freshness is good.
Appearance - Hazy pale golden color with small half finger of quickly dissolving white head. More yellowy than most. Small soapy collar remains behind.
Smell - light and citrusy, some lemon, lime and hints of grapefruit. Slight sweetness and light bready maltiness.
Taste - Very light flavor wise, some light citrus flavors, lemon and orange most prominent with a slight bit of something sweeter, maybe cantaloupe. Gentle breadiness permeates the backdrop.
Mouthfeel - Light bodied, moderate carbonation, easy to crush, so while being lo-cal, drinking a number of these in a go is not a chore.
Overall - This is a well designed beer, being sufficiently flavorful, while maintaining the low calorie count. It's refreshing and while steeply priced in these parts, the beer itself is pretty good. I got a 4 pack, no need to pick up more, but in terms of hitting the brief, Wowza! puts in a Wowza! performance.
