This was my favorite Deschutes limited brew that I had on tap while visiting Portland.
It's a nice hazy orange, small white head, good lacing.
Nose is sweet honey, hints of fruity berries, and a solid tangy, yeasty saison scent.
Taste was a very well-done saison. Tangy citrus, gentle hop presence, little bits of spice, wheaty/yeasty flavors. All comes together very well.
Nice full, foamy mouthfeel.

Portland pub in a pilsner glass.
appearance - cloudy yellow/amber, lacing stuck around til the end of the glass, slow recession on the head
smell - spice, floral, malt, honey
taste - big spicy malt body with dominating honey, the blackberry is there but subtle
mouthfeel - full bodied, medium carbonation
drinkability - flavorful and rich, on the heavier side of things for a saison
From Deschutes:
This traditional farmhouse ale was brewed with 5 different malts, blackberry honey, and a plethora of spices. The fruity and floral aromas rise from this beer like no other.
IBU's 18 | Alcohol by Vol. 6.9%
