My first from Hackney Church, I drank it from the tap in a packed taproom under the London Overground tracks on a Sunday afternoon trying to escape the rain. But all and all a good experience to see young people bringing life to this formerly working class and neglected neighbourhood. See my Place Review as an explanation for the very good Overall Hugs I give this micro.
My 1/2 pint glass of Blast Off has a nice foam and it hangs around until the end. Smells are as advertised, leading mostly with the mandarin and malt with aromatic hops in the back of my nose. Tastes are well-balanced since the hops are mostly aromatic and only modestly bitter. Refreshing and pleasing. Medium-mouthed and very soft.
