Pour crystal clear bronze body, head is big but fades almost immediately. Smell and taste are clones: simple malt with an edge of sweetness, yeast is subdued, hops kiss the finish. Feel is the shining exemplar for this one with smooth malt, just the right carbonation and crispness without sacrificing the body or simplicity. Gateway lager

Poured from a crowler into a pint glass. Pours translucent orange yellow with a tiny white head. Smells of sweet grain and slight wheat. Tastes of bright grain with just the slightest of citrus. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

A huge step above any lager i’ve had. Relatively inoffensive in many ways but delivers more complexity and flavor than most other lagers.

This was the first beer I had at this place. Just added to the database, so you've got the same guy adding the first two beers, what a time to be alive. I'm also going to review the beer I just added because I'm not a total sociopath. I was a bit hungover when we rolled in, so I wanted some levity to drink.
Pours that all familiar beer color of golden yellow. 1/3" white head. Good clarity. This is how it should look. Aroma reminiscent of hi life. Industrial American lager yeast. Grain.
Taste was a no frills but reliable American lager. Minimal hop character, sturdy lager yeast presence, 2 row and pilsner malt all over it I would speculate. Mouth feel still nice and light and well carbonated. You'll never bring this to a big nerd bottle share because its meant to just be crushed while chilling and not trying to show off. Being that the humidity was killing me out there, it was a nice beer to hit up. Given its close proximity to some of the coolest homies I'm sure I shall return to this place. Shit I might even buy a house in West Allis I like it there so much, these are my people.
