Tasted on tap at the brewery in Waco, TX.
Beer had a gold color and good clarity. Low white head. Nice saison aromas, with raw grain and black pepper from the yeast. Flavors OK for the style; I get grain, black pepper, and low bubblegum. The flavors just don't seem well integrated somehow. Appropriate body and carbonation for the style. Hops bitterness seems high for the style, a bit harsh and soap-like. Overall this is a decent saison, but not a great one.
