Pours a chill hazed gold with a thumb of pearl colored head. Nice head retention & lacing
S: Bready, soapy & perfumy hops
T: Bready, grassy, hints of lemon & soapy hops up front. Dryness, grassyness, hints of lime as this beer warms up. Finishes dry with lime, soapy hops & a little grain sweetness
MF: Medium body, restrained carbonation, nicely balanced
Solid take on the style, easy to drink

Can from Capitol Highway Deli Mart.
A clear light yellow with a dense, white head with good retention and lacing. The nose is a gorgeous expression of Hallertau Mittelfruh, lemony, mildly dusty and with lovely fresh cut grass. The malt depth is a little lacking, without the soft, doughy and snappy depth that the best in the style have. The palate opens clean, crisp, snappy with clean bitterness. Lovely soft lemon notes with mint, earth and grass. The malt character is very light. Drying on the finish, clean and snappy. Solid!

Pours a clear amber with adequate foam in the big Duvel tulip. Pleasant malt and cereal aroma with a whiff of herbs. Some hints of green leafy hops. Light body with a modest spritz. A little gummy and corn-flavored. Seems more like a Blonde Ale. Perfectly drinkable, however, and refreshing with modest expectations. From the 16 oz can purchased at BottleCraft. Not dated.
June 27, 2023 update: Tried another can of this and liked it more. Lemony finish is quite nice with the pleasant grainy cereal taste. Highly quaffable and very flavorful in the Lager line.
