Packaged in May, enjoyed on July 25th, 2025 - poured from a pint can into my Moonlight willibecher.

Pale, unclear flax liquid - spritzy head rapidly recedes to a faint surface slick. Vague lacing; poor retention.

Bright, heady aroma suffused with tropical notes (passion fruit, mango, lime), hints of scallion and malt.

Herbaceous palate entry with low citrus and gooseberry notes leading into a wave of earthy/spicy rye flavors that synergize perfectly with the moderate bitterness. Fairly dry finish with hints of white wine. Cleanly lagered.

Medium-light bodied, with just adequate carbonation. Refreshing with restrained alcohol.

Wonderful marriage of flavors.

Sweet bready-biscuity malty, hint of white wine grape, lemony-orange citrus, and a subtle Nelson-dank nose on this one! Taste follows with a balanced, rye-bready malty, New Zealand hoppy, and hint of lemon citrus bitter finish. The rye addition works really well here! It adds a rye spiciness to the backend of the swallow. This is fantastic!

Clear golden brew with abundant foam in the Duvel nonic. Sudsy and prickly mouthfeel with a malty body. Light lemony aroma with leafy hops. Taste is resiny and grainy, with the classic rye notes of spiciness and and a distinct kind of bitterness. White grapes and a bitter finish. Quite bold flavors. I would be inclined to put it in the Rye Beer category but it's good as a Pilsner. From my latest favorite brewery. I hope the romance lasts. From the 16 oz can purchased at O'Shea's in Laguna Niguel which has several of their brews. Dated 05/8/23.

A cave man starts a fire. A supernova implodes. Barry Sanders scores a touch down. A bird makes a nest. And Raul drinks a beer (and a good one at that). All beautiful, and natural things in this world.
