An interesting story and pitch from everywhere. The most interesting part is their lack of capital letters. But clever is clever. Very LA-looking website. Two taprooms, pretty good for a four year old. This lager is good enough for me to suggest that they make lagers a bigger part of their lineup. I give everywhere very good Overall Hugs because LA needs them.
Open Doors Looks average; foam dissipates too quickly, no lace, dishwater blond. Sweet Smells improve slightly with hops in the back of my nose. Those hops are in the attack and they Taste stronger by mid-palate, then dry a bit in the finish. Well done and consistent with the German pils style. While a bit on the light side, I call it medium-mouthed because bubbles still bubble.
