Pint pour on draught at the brewery. Served in a Pilsner glass. It is a slightly hazy, grassy yellow color with a small, ecru-colored head and minimal lacing. But the nose is impressive with ripe, sweet peach and a hint of herbs. The taste opens with a big dose of peach puree over a dry, crackery malt base. At mid-palate the basil is noticeable, along with notes of clove and coriander, which tempers the sweetness of the peach. This ale is lite and crisp with lively carbonation, and the 6.7% ABV gives it good substance. It is a very easy drinker. Overall, Channel 13 PBS is a nice summertime cooler. You could pound on the beach but it has enough character to drink with burgers, dogs or sausage. Nicely done!
