The Stein Lager poured a murky orange-red with a creamy off-white head that had good retention. It had a subtle grassy aroma with hints of caramel. The first initial taste was a pretty strong caramel. It also had a grassy taste with a slightly hoppy, bitter finish. Overall it was a pretty interesting beer, and was very smooth drinking.
