From notes taken 02/14/17:
Very clear straw gold for pour before taking a whiff, but as I add the rest so I can take a picture and finish the review, it moves toward a very different appearance. Every size of chunk you can imagine for a beer, ranging from abundant fines, to clumps of yeast, all in suspension. Still fairly clear toward the bottom but quite swirly with haze for a few inches under the head, slowly meandering downward. And the color is starting to approach amber. Capped with wispy layer of a bright creamy white foam, with decent retention. Wheat tartness and almost sweetness, and a slight yeast spiciness/mustiness. Bubblegum and bread notes intensify as more yeast is added in the pour and the beer itself has a chance to breathe. Equal parts yeasty bubblegum and spice, subdued herbal bitterness, and tangy wheat, with a finish not quite cloves and some bread. All of this is good, readily identifiable but not out of balance, and yet still watered down compared to many I have enjoyed, making for both an interesting and drinkable brew. It has been ages since I have had a hefe, this was none too soon. Medium body, half-watery, half-creamy, with even and abundant fine spitz mellowing toward thin velvet.

Pours a cloudy (as it should be) straw yellow with a strong fluffy white head that holds up well. The aroma is full of the classic banana and clove. Slight bubblegum. I'm also getting a prominent lemon scent as well. It's enjoyable if not a classic part of a Hefeweizen.
Taste is a little heavy on the bubble gum. The banana overtakes the clove spiciness as well. Mouthfeel is somewhat thin for the style.
Enjoyable beer. The bubblegum tones comes on a little too strong for my preference.

A: pours a light, straw yellow body with some haze. White head with minimal retention and lacing.
S: yeasty, lemon notes
T: pretty strong lemon, grassy taste with a yeasty, unripe banana aftertaste.
M: light and pretty crisp
D: ok mouthfeel and taste combo; ok overall, but could use a little more head retention.

Poured from 12 oz bottle into wheat glass.
Appearance: pours a 2" frothy white head which drops slowly. Hazy, cloudy dark yellow color with tons of particles in suspension. Lots of streaming carbonation.
Aroma: as expected banana, clove, with white bread and lemon.
Mouthfeel: light and sudsy with a fairly wet finish.
Flavor: mirrors the aroma -- some banana and clove. White bread dough and some lemon.
Overall: mostly pleasant but a bit bland for the style.

Smell: Mild banana, yeast, bread.
Taste: Lemon, yeast, crackers, a little bit of astringency at the end, like a citrus peel.
A nice beer. The astringency was a little off-putting, though.

Pours a cloudy, straw color. 3/4 inch head of a white color. Decent retention and decent lacing. Smells of clove, lemon, sweet malt, hint of hop, yeast, and wheat. Fits the style of a Hefeweizen. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with a high carbonation level. There is also a noticeable tartness. Tastes of sweet malt, slight clove, slight lemon, hint of hop, yeast, and slight wheat. Overall, better than average body and aroma, but only a decent blend, appearance, and feel.

On tap. Poured a cloudy, golden yellow color with a small, bubbly head of foam. It smelled of banana, clove and cracked wheat. Nice banana taste with some sweet wheat characteristics.
