I had this beer on-tap in a pint glass at the brewery in Priest River. They say this beer "uses all Idaho barley, all Idaho hops and Idaho potatoes for good measure" ... seems legit!
Appearance: light straw hue with a little bit of haze and a finger of white foam. It looks refreshing.
Smell: grainy and almost savory; very interesting. I mean, knowing that it contains potato makes me want to say it is soup-like. It’s odd, but enticing.
Taste: there’s a light, yeasty, slightly malty flavor, with a nice bite of noble, grassy hops. It’s smooth and darn tasty.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good dose of carbonation and a really good creaminess, especially for the style. Like, really really good.
Overall: this beer is weird, but refreshing, and I really rather like it.
