From the brewery: Kind of like a Munich dunkel or dunkelweizen, this roggenbier was brewed with a huge blend of different rye malts. Reminds us of moderately toasted marble bread.

8oz draft pour at the brewery. Look was deep brown color with an off white head that lingered. Smell was rye bread and earthy spiciness. Taste follows nose here with a healthy dose of rye bread, malt, spicy/earthy hops. Feel is light bodied, a bit watery in the finish. Easy to drink. Overall, it's bold and flavorful, but not too thick or heavy. Very nice beer to sip.
