Drunk from the tap at the source in January 2023.
L: Crystal clear, washed-out yellow. Small, bright white head around the glass. Mild, fast-moving carbonation in the glass.
S: Mild, yeasty notes with floral, herbal hops. Quite restrained but enjoyable on the nose.
T: Very clean, which is key for a traditional lager (despite it being listed as an American lager on BA). It's nicely floral, almost lavender in taste. There's a hint of lemon as it warms. Bitterness is mild and perfectly matches the beer.
M: Slightly more carbonic prickle than expected from the visuals, but perfectly acceptable for a larger.
O: Whenever I go to a brewery for the first time I try their lager to see the brewer's chops. This one ticked all the boxes. Well done!
Cheers!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
