Vespasianus is our Pale Lager which celebrates Connecticut ingredients. Crafted with malted barley and flaked corn from our friends at Thrall Family Malt in Windsor, CT, Cascade hops from our friends at Smokedown Farm Hops in Sharon, CT, and our house lager yeast blend, this lager is crisp, soft, and refreshing. Single decocted, naturally carbonated, and lagered for over eight weeks, we taste notes of candied lemon peel, crackers, grapefruit, and a light floral finish.
It is named after Vespasianus (9 - 79 CE), who was a Roman Emperor and the founder of the Flavian dynasty.
